Go onboard for a nice evening with family, friends and / or colleagues and enjoy delicious freshly baked pancakes. When you enter the ship, you immediately try the ship's sphere. Many authentic elements have been preserved, such as the original plank floor, old shutters and the characteristic portholes. Take place at one of the cozy tables in the shipyard. From here, you have a view of the open kitchen, where Capt'n Pancake and its fishermen cook the pancakes traditionally for you.

A piece of history

The Pancake Ship is located in a beautiful two-mile clipper. Before serving our ship as a pancake restaurant, it has been serving as a sailboat ship for Dutch waters, under the name of Actual. With a length of 43 meters and 23 meters high masts, our ship is one of the largest mowers ever built in the Netherlands. The Pancake Ship was built in 1926 and is sixty years later, moored in 1986 at the Willemskade in Leeuwarden. Meanwhile, the most delicious Friesland pancakes have been baked for over 25 years!
